Founder & Learning Guide
Donna Nance Deese, founder and learning guide of Trellis Learning Academy, brings over 25 years of dedicated experience in education to our community. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Montessori Certification, Donna is a passionate educator committed to fostering a love for learning in her students while providing a safe and engaging environment. She recognizes that our traditional educational system often falls short in meeting the diverse needs and learning styles of today's learners. This understanding drives her mission to create a nurturing setting at Trellis Learning Academy, where students can thrive, engage, and develop the skills they need for the future. As a lifelong learner, she continuously seeks innovative strategies and pedagogical approaches to enhance educational practices, aiming to bridge the gaps in the current system. Her vision and expertise inspire a dynamic learning experience that empowers every child to reach their full potential.
Our Facility
We are very close to securing the ideal location that features a stunning outdoor learning area, complemented by an indoor environment that reflects the comforts of home and includes a well-equipped kitchen.
